Sens

Something cold touched her inside and the senses were stimulating the brain cells to respond. But the brain attempted to refuse to stay out of comfort of closeness given by the Person standing next to her. She closed her eyes and a drop of tear started trickling down her reddened left cheek. Sensing her anxiety, the Person grabbed her hand, patted gently on it, and wiped off the tear drop. The procedure of giving a shot of Tetanus lapsed in 4 seconds but imagination of the pain of a needle penetrating the muscle was unbearable.

“OK, it’s done,” announced Doctor.
She opened her eyes closely, as if she did not believe the words.
“I did not feel the pain,” said she.

Wordy, but true. Injections - 'oh the horror!' (Kurtz-style ref: Apocalypse now)

"It's all in the mind".
- Ian Gillian (Deep Purple vocalist, 'Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming')

Like the idea, but the writing itself is tedious. Try harder.

Aha! You're here! Hm-- Why is it tedious, the writing itself?

Read all the three stories in Sens Series- Sens, Sens - The Loss Of Comfort and Sens – Wings Of Comfort. Writer should be happy and sad as well if people can make out the meaning of it. Thats the drawback. Because, meaning may not be the ssame as what author wanted to convey. Nice work.
